Terms of service
Version 2, 14 October 2026.
1. Who we are
These terms are between you and Noverquis Ltd (company number 17521667, registered in England and Wales; registered office 37 Longfellow Way, London SE1 5TB), trading as Ceaselist. Contact: [email protected].
2. Who can use Ceaselist
You must be at least 18 and live in the UK or the European Economic Area, and you may use Ceaselist only for your own personal data. The service is for personal, not business, use.
3. What we do
Under the authority you sign, we act as your agent. We email erasure and objection requests to data brokers that accept requests by email. We follow up, answer routine replies using standard wording, chase deadlines, repeat requests periodically, and prepare complaint packs you can send to a regulator. Brokers that accept requests only through their own web forms are listed with links so you can contact them yourself. We do not fill in forms for you.
4. What we can't promise
Each organisation decides whether and how it complies, and some may refuse, ignore you, or collect your data again later. We will do what these terms describe with reasonable care and skill, but we cannot guarantee any particular result. We do not give legal advice, and we do not file complaints or claims for you.
5. Your responsibilities
Give us accurate details about yourself only, keep your sign-in email secure, and tell us if anything changes. We may suspend or close an account that is used to make requests about someone else, to harass anyone, or to break the law. If we do, we'll tell you why and refund any unused part of your subscription unless the misuse was deliberate.
6. Price, payment and renewal
Prices are shown on the billing page and include VAT where it applies. Subscriptions are paid in advance and renew automatically each month or year until you cancel. We email you before an annual subscription renews. If a payment fails, we keep working for 14 days, then pause sending until payment succeeds.
7. Your right to cancel and our refund promise
By law you can cancel within 14 days of subscribing for any reason (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013). We go further: if you cancel within 30 days of first paying, we refund you in full, automatically. After that you can cancel at any time from your account or by email; the service stops straight away and we don't charge again. We don't refund part-used periods after the first 30 days, except where the law requires.
Cancelling stops all sending immediately and ends our authority to act for you. If an organisation replies afterwards, we tell it to contact you directly.
8. Our responsibility to you
If we break these terms or fail to use reasonable care and skill, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result. We are not responsible for loss that is not foreseeable, for what organisations do or fail to do with your data, or for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for breaching your statutory rights as a consumer.
9. Changes to these terms or the service
We may update these terms, for example to reflect changes in law. We will email you at least 30 days before a change that affects you. If you don't agree, you can cancel before the change takes effect and we'll refund any unused part of your subscription.
10. Referral scheme ("give £5, get £10")
Every customer has a personal invite link. A new customer who starts a subscription through it gets £5 off their first payment. The customer who invited them earns £10 credit once the new customer has paid at least £15 in total and stayed subscribed for 30 days (so credit is never paid on a refunded subscription). Credit is added to the inviting customer's account balance and taken off their next payment automatically; it isn't money and can't be withdrawn. Credit can be earned for up to 10 friends in any 12 months.
You can't invite yourself, or an account you control, and we may cancel credit we reasonably believe was earned that way. We never email your friends: you share your own link, and you must not send it to people who haven't expected it, or in any way that is misleading. If you post your link publicly, say that you earn credit. We tell you how many friends have subscribed but never who they are. We can change or end the scheme at any time; credit you have already earned stays valid.
11. Complaints and law
If you have a complaint, email [email protected] and we'll respond within 14 days. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in your local courts. If you live in the EEA, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country.
